About Dan

Dan and Nancy have been creating photographic images and having a Portrait studio for over 34 years. Dan has been in the darkroom since the age of 6 and has a college degree from the Art Institute in Professional Photography and Multi Media. Dan has earned his certification of being a Certified Professional Photographer in 2008 along with continous classes that they go to to continue to update their craft.

What does this mean for you as a student? Training on all aspects of photography. From each setting and number on your camera and how to use them, to what lighting to use and when, to the art and soul of what makes a great image, to post editing after the image was created.

Many years ago, we taught children that were in the boy and girl scouts program. This was so rewarding to see how young minds view art and how they have the capability to create amazing artwork themselves. Then we were awarded on having one of the top 3 photographic business plans in the U.S. by the Professional Photographers of America and asked to speak to our colleagues about the business side of a photography business.



College degree from the Art Institute along with on going education through other colleagues throughout the world as our industry evolves.

In the begining, we need to access where the student is at in their artwork and how comfortable they are with the equipment they own. From there we can take a course of action that will benefit their needs.



All types from pre-teen to adults with the willing to become a better artist.



Look at their work. If you see quality, you should receive a quality education. If you see quanity with not much creativeness (posing, lighting, post production, composition), then you will probably not get much out of your sessions.



We also educate about natural Florida though our non profit - Imagine Our Florida. We go out to events thoughout the state and the excitement on many people that we meet and talk to is fantastic. No matter if we are teaching photography or talking about Florida wildlife and plants, education for all is the key.
