About Garrett

I have roughly 10 years of photography experience. Throughout the years there are a few reasons why I love this field so much. Working with fellow artist and seeing the world through their lens, seeing the final photo printed after production and teaching new artist the craft of photographery. The thing I love most about teaching photography is watching the student's progression, the emotions that come from their progression, and seeing the world through their prospective.

I am also working towards my BFA in graphic design and like to combine my photography and design knowledge to my work through programs like photoshop.

Everything from collaborating with fellow photographers, from the production of photographing, post-production, to the final physical print on the wall. I love playing/experimenting with light, angles, settings, locations, people. I enjoy it all.

I tought a few friends of mine including my mother and loved teaching them. I wish to share my passion and would like to teach art in the future.

I am currently working towards my BFA in graphic design. I have privous training in photography and various professional expereinces thougthout the US. I have had some mentorship by published photographers like Sean P. Watters.

About the lesson

First, I like to gather an understanding of your knowledge in photography and/or any other artisic expression. This helps me plan around how to better teach you. From there I want to know what subject matter you are interested in. This also helps plan lessons and guidence. Lastly, I want to know who you are as an individual. Which again, helps provide information to help me teach and suggest techniques.
