About the lesson

Initial phone call or text then meeting up in person. Most charges are negotiated over the phone depending on skill level and what the student would like to get out of the lesson or how many lessons. Lessons range from a two week time period to a monthly basis.
Mostly females ages 14yr & up
Go with your gut. If something doesn't feel right, don't do it. However, if you want to achieve something more, don't be afraid to be bold and hire an expert to make you the expert.
I was teaching a new softball player the basics of hitting. How to use your hips and square your body, and keep your body balanced. My student hit the ball, farther than she has ever and says "this is fun!". That was really inspiring as a teacher.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Would the teacher be a right fit? Can they understand what your going through and take it into consideration? If the student gets frustrated, how will the teacher react and teach so the student understands the lesson? Can the teach also benefit from learning from the student or will it be one-sided?
