About Yuechao
Hi! I'm a master student of Physics at Imperial College London and I've been teaching different students as a private tutor for more than four years. I completed my undergraduate degree at Fudan University in China, also majoring in Physics.
Determined to engage in education at a very young age, I'm always keen on seeking possible opportunities to expose myself to various kinds of education-related internships and research projects.
I worked as a science teacher in Shanghai Fudan International School in the fourth year of my undergraduate life, teaching Science and IGCSE Physics.
Also, I was introduced to a quite creative and promising entrepreneurship team named Dr. Whale STEM Courses Team and joined it as a partner afterwards. Holding a post as a science teacher there, I am mainly responsible for designing and teaching summer courses for students aged from 8-14. Since the whole team provides a relatively flexible environment to work in, I am able to constantly make different attempts to develop better teaching techniques and new types of assessments to guide students' learning and enhance their understanding of science.
Besides, I've worked as a voluntary teacher in remote areas in China as well as at Students Care Service in Singapore, and all these experiences do let me deeply aware of the necessity of teaching students in accordance of their aptitude.
Majoring in physics as an undergraduate and postgraduate has laid a solid foundation, and now I'll stick to my career plan as a physics teacher and try my best to help my students.
