About Avantika

Kia ora, I am an experienced tutor who is passionate about teaching. I am a graduate of Neuroscience, Psychology, and Education. I am currently working with a tutoring company online and am available for extra lessons online. An interesting fact about me is that I changed a school every year in high school. This also made me resilient and helped me develop skills and habits that allowed me to ace no matter where I was.

Excellent! Avantika was on time, professional, working through the aims of the lesson with Casey. Casey found her kind and liked her, but as she struggles with math, needs simple terms to help support her learning and understanding of what she finds a very difficult subject.

In today’s session, we revised like terms and variables and applied the order of operations while solving algebraic expressions. We discussed Casey’s area of focus, and she shared that she would like to improve her multiplication of algebraic expressions.

We worked through different types of algebraic expression questions. Casey shared that she feels okay about everything covered today (5/10) and would like to continue practicing multiplication in the next session.
