I am a Educator and PhD Scientist in Engineering from UCLA with many years of experience in teaching and truly passionate in what I do, very friendly and patient with my students but strict when it's needed !!
I try to give my best of the best to each and every student with lots of personal attention and concern, try to help them actually understand the concepts of science, and improve their grades and do well in their classes.
✧ Highly Qualified (BS Honors, MS, PhD) : UCLA Engineering
✧ Over 10 years of Experience in teaching High School and College level Chemistry/Physics at UCLA and Bel Air/West LA/Beverly Hills/Westwood/ Brentwood / Century City/Silver Lake/Sherman Oaks areas.
✧ Always highly complemented from my past students and their parents who had great improvements in their grades and recommended to their friends. Most majority of my students get A's A+s!! and a few B's.
✧ Very friendly, kind and patient, but productive and focused - logical and step by step teaching style, loved by students.
✧ I work with students individually, perfectly customizing to each student depending on their level of understanding and speed.

Dr. DJ was just fantastic! He was extremely knowledgable in Chemistry and super kind. He was really patient and explained General Chemistry principles in his own unique way. I was struggling to understand and follow my Chemistry professor, trying to do stoichiometry problems, molecular geometries, etc, but he made things very easy by explaining in simple terms. Chemistry wasn’t my favorite in the beginning, but with his sessions, I started gaining much greater understanding of chemistry which enabled me to do many chemistry problems by myself, after working on chemistry practice problems with Dr. DJ Highly recommend him!
