About Jacob
I am a sophmore college student looking to help people who are struggling in school. I am an Integrative Neuroscience major and have taken courses in subjects such as physics, biology, chemistry, and math. I currently hold a 3.5 GPA and wold love to help anyone who is in need.
My first teaching job was actually as a swim instructor when I was 16. The kids that I taught were very young, from age 2-13, so this was a great expirience to learn to teach young children. I also have worked at a special needs camp (not teaching), which has provided me experience with all types of children.
I am currently a college sophmore studying Integrative Neuroscience at Binghamton University. I have a 3.5 GPA and have recieve high grades including A's in subjects such as psychology, chemistry, and biology. These are my strongest subjects, but I also have a background in history and writing and can even tutor for Hebrew language if needed.

I like to first get an understanding of what a student know. Having a good baseline is crucial to being able to make any type of progress whatsoever. Then I ask the student what their goal for the course may be so that we have something to work towards. Finally, we get work and being tackling their goal of being successful.
I have worked with everyone! I have held jobs from swim instructor to counselor to stock associate. I have connected with all types of personalities and backgrounds and look forward to continuing to do so.
