About Lacy

Hi! My name is Lacy Reynolds and I am a piano and harp teacher. I have studied harp for over 15 years and have been teaching for about 7 years now. I received my BA in Arts in Music at the University of Utah where I studied under Dr. Cathryn Clayton. I have performed with the Campus Symphony for 2 years and with the Crimson Harps for 2 years. I teach anywhere from beginning students to intermediate. I teach everything from reading music to theory. I also hold at least one recital every year so your young musician can show off what they have learned.

(concealed information)

To say that teaching is my calling would be true. I love teaching the harp and piano to children and adults and planning out lessons. I spend my extra time teaching beginning band and orchestra classes in elementary schools through the Riverton Music program. Watching my students perform their accomplishments at recitals makes me so proud.

About the lesson

With a new student my first lesson will be always to go over my studio policies with both the student and their parent. I will also assess where they are at skill wise so I best know where to start them. If they are brand new to the instrument I will give them basic exercises to start on developing correct techniques.
