Greetings, My name is Jerel. I am a music teacher, vocalist and pianist. I am a graudate from Berklee College of Music and currently teach Band, Chorus and Music Theory at a Charter School. I am passionate about Music and enjoy teaching vocal and piano styles of all genres.

I challange my students to really listen to their instincts and guide them with the proper technique to carry out those instincts in a powerful and healthy way! I want the singer/pianist to dig deep inside and really discover the specialness of their artistry and creativety that will serve not only their spirit but the community as well, For the student to ignite inspiration, passion and hope through their gift and bodly and confidently present their art to the world or even just to a famly member if that is the goal.

I started teaching when I became a Music Instructor at Guitar Center back in 2014. From there, I have expanded my career to teaching music in public charter schools.

I start out just with a conversation with the student. I like to get an idea of their experience with voice/piano and asks what are the goals the student would like to accomplish.
