About Karen
Karen Dalley Piano Studio ((concealed information)
Based in Cranbury New Jersey with private, semi private, or small group classes in piano for students of all ages. Specialized arrangements available for home schoolers and remote instruction.
Expert teaching is tailored to each student. Teaching may be guided toward performance, music exam preparation, such as The Royal Conservatory Music Development Program, or recreational music making. “Pre-Piano” and “Music Makers at the Keyboard” classes can be arranged for groups of 4 or 5.
I enjoy knowing that my students will love it! I like the confidence that my approach fosters independence. It's joyful work to be able to guide students skillfully and to hear them advance to higher and higher levels of artistry and mastery when they perform.

Interview and trial lesson precede enrollment. Lesson plans are created and weekly lessons are given for 45 or 60 minutes. Students work toward mastery of each concept before moving on to the next. Ear training, technique, and a large selection of repertoire are covered each month. Students are expected to play in group master classes when pieces are ready to share.
