About Trinity

I provide low-cost virtual piano lessons for beginner and intermediate students. My main focus is to make the abstract concept of music concrete and comprehensible for even the youngest of children. Diving into the world of music can be intimidating and overwhelming at any age. My methods break down each component of piano in small chunks and are actually able to reach students. Taking piano lessons as a young child, I often felt very frustrated, even though I was quite musically talented for my age. I strive to make learning the piano a stress-free and enjoyable adventure for my students so they never feel the frustration I did. All of this I do virtually--no more intimidating studios--so students have the comfort and flexibilty to take their lessons from wherever is best for them.

As a teacher, I absolutely love the moment when one of my students makes a breakthrough, however small, in their lessons. I especially love working with young children--their joy is unmatched. I absolutely feel that when my students win, I win.

I have over 13 years of experience in classical piano. I also am well versed in voice, saxophone, guitar, and music theory, along with their relationship to the piano. I have received numerous 1st places in the solo piano division of the WSMA Solo & Ensemble competition at the state level. I am actively receiving private training for music teachers to further develope my teaching skills.

About the lesson

Focus not just on what the teacher is teaching, but how they are teaching it. Music is a very abstract concept that can be hard to explain, especially to young children. How a teacher explains musical terms and techinique is crucial to a child's learning. Looking for a teacher that is direct, positive, motivating, and concise is key for getting the most out of your training.

My standard price is $15 for a half-hour lesson. To achieve the most efficient learning, I recommend students take lessons once per week.
