About Carey

Located in South Denver near the University of Denver, the Bozovich Music Studio offers Private Lessons in Piano to students of all ages. The setting is a lovely home where lessons and recitals are given on a beautiful Grotrian Grand Piano. Private cello lessons are also available to students of all ages. Carey Bozovich believes that every student benefits from the creativity and discipline of learning a musical instrument, regardless of ability. Lessons are individualized to the interests of the student.

About the lesson

Before the first lesson we talk about the student's previous experience and goals for learning to play piano or cello.

If they have studied before, I have them bring their most recent music books to the first lesson and then have them play something from those books or from books I think might match their experience level. We then decide together an approach going forward and I give them assignments for the first week and adjust at each lesson going forward. It is always better to start easy and get more advanced as the student improves based on practice.
