I enjoy helping people through music, and seeing them on their own musical journey.

I’ve been working as a music teacher and got students reaching out for private piano lessons. And that’s how I started doing private piano lessons.

Professional pianist and musician with over 20 years experience in the music scene. Both as a music teacher, piano teacher, concert pianist and doing gigs with a band.

Played for musical professor Fredric Wilhelmsson. And world pianist and professor Michael Smith.

About the lesson

We start by assesing where you are at. What your goals are and start from there. We have shorter lessons but more effective and concentrate on easy learning so you have time to focus on what you are learning and that will help you remember it more effectively.

All ages. From the age of 3 and up.

I teach a blind woman from Finland how to play the piano and she is an amazing student that I’ve had for a few years, and I'm currently helping a man in his 60's to fulfill one of his lifelong dreams on how to be able to play Moon River. He had no previous experience so It's been so much fun starting from scratch with him and going through the basics.

First of all it has to do with the joy you have of playing. It’s most important to feel inspired and motivated by the lessons. Because music is all about having fun.

And finding a teacher that brings out that fun so you can continue to grown on your musical journey.

I had my own piano concert in Los Angeles called: Midnight in LA. And that’s something I’m very proud of.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students can be upfront if they struggle with something. It could be that they lack confidence or suffer from any disabilities and find it hard to overcome certain things that could affect their confidence in playing the piano. It’s important to have a good relationship with your teacher so you can grown musically.

I've tried using YouTube sites but I needed to be able to ask questions and get feedback.
Then I found Emmy Rich - her style of music appealed to me and I decided to ask her to teach me how to play.
Emmy's lessons are tailored exactly to my needs - and I'm learning at my pace.
After the first few lessons I was getting disheartened with my progress but Emmy has the patience of a saint and always encourages me to keep going.
I'm not ready for the concert hall yet but with Emmy's training and kind support I reckon I'm going to reach my goal.
