About
I’m a NY state certified music teacher (25 years) and have taught at all levels, elementary, middle, high school and college.I’m a currently active NYSSMA piano judge. Currently, I’m teaching music for Norwich and I am an adjunct professor of music at SUNY Broome, where I conduct the college band. Professionally I play piano/keyboard books for musical theatre. My students regularly participate in NYSSMA festivals and perform in recitals/school concerts. I’m also a regular of my church’s worship team and play keys in the band.
I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults. I can start you from the beginning of course, but I specialize at beginning in the middle. I can evaluate your ability and take you and your playing to the next level. Perhaps you can play but you struggle with sightreading, I’ve got a system for that. Note reading giving you trouble? I can get you through that too. Give me a try and let’s make some music together.
