About Steven
Steven Brundage is the founder and director of Green Willow Academy, a music teacher co-operative based in Greenville, South Carolina. He serves on the editorial board of the Frances Clark Center's online research journal The Piano Pedagogy Forum and as Worship Director at Heritage Bible Church in Greer, SC.
He is the winner of the 2015 MTNA Article of the Year Award, the College Music Society Mid-Atlantic Ruskin Cooper Award, and the 2011 Clavier Companion Collegiate Writing Contest. His writing is published in the American Music Teacher, Clavier Companion, and in the College MusicSociety's Symposium on topics of entrepreneurship in music, independent music teaching, performance anxiety, and talent development.
Steven has presented at state and national Music Teacher National Association conferences, regional College Music Society conferences, and to local associations and piano forums. He is an independent piano teacher in Greenville, SC.
