I like starting with the basics of getting to know each other--musical experience, favorite song/musical genre, goals, and what inspired the student to begin lessons.
All ages! For small beginners, I recommend them knowing their letters and numbers before starting, typically 5-6 years old. As for adults, it is never too late to start! Music transcends all ages.
