Experienced tutor in Piano in Houston, Mihai offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

I appreciate all the experience that Dr. Vatca brings to the table. Not only is he a very talented and knowledgeable musician, he is a wonderful teacher who explains things clearly. He is also very patient and helps me bring each piece to its full potential. Best teacher I’ve had!

Our family learned of Mihai through a recommendation from a member of the Houston Symphony and we’ve been amazed by him ever since! He has accompanied my oldest daughter in performances and competitions, and after hearing him play I knew my daughters would hugely benefit from lessons with Mihai. Exceptionally talented, kind, humble, passionate, creative, caring, and infinitely patient are all qualities that come to mind when I think of Mihai! My younger daughter, who had stopped lessons with a different teacher, was brought back to the joy of piano by Mihai through his positive and encouraging teaching, and he continues to refine and advance the playing of my advanced level older teen. Mihai offers praise and hones in on and gently provides correction for areas needing improvement. He shows great concern and respect for his students in the way he makes corrections and in the extra efforts he takes to see to it that improvement is made. My daughters have also improved their playing from the additional Master classes he has offered, and our family has enjoyed Mihai’s creativity in planning themed recitals with audience participation. As parents, who have sat through countless hours of lessons, our family is also grateful for the welcoming and pleasant environment that Mihai and his wife Andreea provide during lessons! Thank you for providing a positive, professional, and overall exceptionally wonderful experience!

Mr. Mihai is a great teacher. Both my kids have learned a lot ever since he started teaching them. They look forward to his class every week. He is an enthusiastic and passionate teacher.
