About Nika

I have taught flute and piano for over 45 years. Music is my life. I have a degree is Drama/Music/Humanities from USC. I am a recording artist with 7 jazz flute cds recorded on my own label. I have the experience and knowledge to teach all styles and all levels of music

Music soothes the soul. It's dynamic, a world of its own, and so enjoyable to explore. I like to bring visuals into my music and teach how to navigate even if you cannot read music.

I grew up in a family of famous classical musicians. I have been around music ALL of my life. It's just part of who I am, and I like to share my knowledge.

Piano lessons offered by Nika are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Lafayette. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
