About Emma

I am able to teach kids school work and how play piano, in a fun, child-oriented way. This will allow us both to grow as people, students and pianists. From beginners to advanced, my lessons can benefit any student. I am reliable and able to reach any time of day. My schedule will revolve around my students and lessons can easily be changed. I have worked with kids through Piano Tree Music School and through LVA, for both tutoring and piano lessons.

I enjoy being able to learn from the kids with their inspirational questions and how they pick up their studies. Though I'm a master in my studies and piano, they are still able to teach me things and allow me to grow as an individual. I am happy to meet and help other students. I have a passion for music, as I have been playing for 10 years, and love being able to pass that passion on.

I have been playing piano for the past 10 years and I have competed in competitions, played in orhcestras, and in the musical production of "The Little Mermaid". I have worked at Piano Tree Music Studio and been able to help teach students there. I have been able to help excell other students to do better and teach students how to benefit through my teachings. For tutoring, I have been a tutor for almost a year and have helped students who were failing get their grades up to an "A".

About the lesson

To begin, every student has a free, online, "meet and greet" that allows me to understand the goals of both the student and the parent. This also allows for me and the student to get to know each other. During the session I am able to asses the student's personal learning style to understand the best approach for teaching the student. Through this, I am able to make personal assessments for the students that will benefit them. For example, with a new piano student I will write them personal music that suits their needs that they will also enjoy.
