About Ethan
I believe everyone should have the opportunity to develop a love for playing the piano. It is my hope that all my students have a positive experience that will enable them to achieve whatever they would like to do with music. Whether it's performing for other people, private composition, or anything in between, I use my training in classical piano and my experience with jazz, pop, and religious music to best connect with what interests my students. I have a Master's degree in piano performance and pedagogy and over ten years experience teaching lessons to students of all ages.
I earned a Bachelor's and Master's in piano performance and pedagogy from Utah State University. In addition to solo performance, I performed with the USU Symphony, singers and all kinds of instrumentalists, and with the USU Theatre department. I spent 6 years teaching in the Youth Conservatory and have published several pieces through FJH Music Company.
