About
Hi I’m Bonnie Zack and I have been teaching piano for 27 years. I majored in music and piano pedagogy with Dr Virginia Houser at KState.
I’ve been a member of the national and state music teachers’ association for as long as I’ve taught.
I teach ages from 6 years to 100!
I love the variety in personality and experience my students bring.
I provide recitals and competitions.
Music is humankind’s most authentic form of communication. Next to that is food. ! I love to garden and cook. Reading is also a long time love.
I teach each student according to how they understand each new concept. And offer them pieces that inspire them as they progress.
We start playing on the instrument right away and the theory comes with the experience of playing.
They will learn the nuts and bolts of music while developing their skills.
It’s an amazing process to be a part of.
The best part of teaching is seeing the student discover that they can do something they thought they could not. That aha! moment is worth every thing.
