About Chase

I guarantee results in improving players' abilities and technique.

I am a life-long music fanatic. I severely enjoy sharing this form of art with others.

A friend of mine from high school got a position as a guitar instructor at a music store in our local mall. They did not have a qualified drum instructor, so my friend referred me to them. I was interviewed and soon after received my first student, a six year old boy.

I took private lessons from ages 11-20. This includes high school jazz band, music theory, and college courses. I began teaching in 2004, 17 years ago.

About the lesson

I start new students out slowly at first. This involves proper posture, stick holding, along with introducing them to basic music notation and counting.

"All" types. From beginners to intermediate players. Lots of them became beyond intermediate after taking the lessons with me. And every age group. From very young children, teens, adults, and to senior citizens.
