About Ricardo
Ricardo Romero was born in Bogotá, Colombia. He discovered his passion for music at an early age. Ricardo began his music studies in Harp and bass guitar in 1991, specializing in Colombian and Venezuelan music, but as he moved forward in his studies he also took in international and Latin music.
He attended Francisco Cristancho Music school and the First Jazz Colombian School , where he learned harmony, composition, orchestration, re-harmonization and complementary piano.
Later on he attended Aczion Records to begin his studies in Sound engineering, where he acquired knowledge in Live Sound, Room Acoustics, Recording and Masterization.
Ricardo lives in south Florida gigging through venues in Miami and Broward, teaching music to his students and offering his music band "Colosal" to play in private events, restaurants and hotels.
