About GISELLE

With more than 20 years of experience I am looking for students with at least 4 years of training that are seriously interested in learning. My approach is individually tailored for each student. Through my experience I realized that every student understands and hears music in a slightly different manner and I enable them to understand the score in a completely different way decoding its DNA creating an awareness and seeing how different patterns of notes translated into movement & then into sound. The results are immediate, and the progress of absolutely every pianist in my studio astonishing.

For me teaching is an Art Form, a shared creative process between the student and the teacher and a constant fountain of discovery.

I was Mrs. Dorothy Taubman's Assistant for many years.

Masters in Music form the Manhattan School of Music

Faculty at the Golandsky Institute from 1987 - 2011

Studied with Dorothu Taubman

Founder - Program and Artistic director of the Miami International Piano Festival

20 years of experience

About the lesson

The goal is for the student to feel at ease and confortable at the piano and to learn the language of playing. Music is a language.

I am interested only in musically gifted students and most of my students are advanced.

Make sure you want to make a commitement, it takes at least a year to start to play in a natural way.

The creation of the Piano Academy and the Miami Internaitonal Piano Festival.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should ask themselves if they are really interested in learning to play the piano.
