About Nathan

Nathan Elliott is a composer, pianist, and teacher based in Southern California. Having played the piano for over a decade, Nathan has a rich background and years of experience. As a pianist, he has performed solo and in chamber settings, serving as the pianist for the Casa Romantica Youth Chamber Music Program.

As a composer, Nathan has written a variety of music, from small chamber and solo pieces to full-orchestral works. His music has been performed by ensembles such as the Brightwork New Music Ensemble and the South Coast Youth Symphony Orchestra. He currently studies under world-renowned composer and educator Dr. Richard Danielpour.

An inspired educator, Nathan strives to create a safe and comfortable learning environment, encouraging students to take risks, make mistakes, and learn to express themselves through the power of music. By always emphasizing creativity and self-expression, Nathan’s teaching fosters a safe and fun atmosphere, ensuring students not only progress and learn, but also develop confidence and a lifelong love for music.

Dedicated to teaching all levels, Nathan’s mission is to always help students find and develop a love and joy through music. Whether they are playing their first note or composing their first pieces, Nathan strives to help students grow, build confidence, and find and believe in their own unique voice.
