About Philip
I have been teaching and performing music my whole life. I taught high school for 35 years and was performing at the same time. I like all types of music and most of my students go onto NYSSMA level 6. I am a lifelong member of Phi Mu Alpha music fraternity, performed with many professional musicians. I recommend students to start at age 6 and many have continued thru college. I have a masters in music education from NYU. I travel to them.
