About Randall

hartmanmusicstudio.com

I perform and teach all styles of music from classical to Jazz,

enabling students to win auditions, play for school and be skillful on the piano.

I love seeing the students begin to teach themselves and be succesful at making beautiful music on the piano.

I've been teaching all my life as well performing and a member of MTNA and National guild of piano teachers of which I am a judge.

My bio is on the hartmanmusicstudio.com website.

My mother (well know teacher in town) supervised me when I started teaching at age 12 years.

Two performance degrees in piano, a B.Mus. and M.Mus.

About the lesson

We disccuss their goals and interrview each other at the first lesson to answer any questions. I explain the four areas of study including Technique, Theory, Sigthreading and Performance.

All ages and levels from beginner to concert pianist.

Many students as Jazz band pianist and choir accompanist.

Get a performing teacher who has college degrees in Piano Major and is older with experience.

Seeing my student perform as the winner of state wide accompanist auditions for State Choir Festival and the School Musical pit orchestra.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Can they Commit to daily practice?

Are they willing to learn the skills it takes to play the piano musically with emotion and their own personality?
