About Rebekah

Legacy Piano Studio serves as an online, private piano studio! Theory instruction, finger patterns, and varied generes of piano music are taught. Rest assured, your lessons will be professional yet personalized for either child or adult!

I have been teaching private piano for 10 years which have included multiple recitals. My students have been children and adults of all ages and nationalities. I have also taught for at The Crown College of the Bible conservatory.

I strive to help each student, not just finish a song, but put their heart into what they accomplish. I love seeing students enjoy themselves while learning a valuable tool for life; the piano!

I started teaching at a young age because I realized the growing need for private piano instructors and cultivated a love to help children and adults find their love for music as well.

I have been playing the piano since I was 5 yrs old. Throughout my life, I have lived in many places and had all styles of teachers. This aids greatly when teaching different personalities and preferences.

I have been a church pianist and played for children and adults choirs for 15 yrs as well as numerous, large special events.

About the lesson

I always like to find out the ultimate goal of a student learning and help them achieve it! The first lesson is spent understanding what level the student is at and creating a foundation. I then assess his or her strengths and weaknesses in music to encourage and excite my students of their abilities.

I have taught a wide variety of students from 4 years old to adults. Many of which have been international students. I have also had experience in teaching college course credit students and students with ADHD and learning disabilities.

Ask questions and make sure the teachers you inquire about teach theory. So many of my students have had teachers who teach very little of this fundamental pillar in music.

I have had the privilege of playing the piano for many of my friend's wedding's over the years. I count it an honor to have been a part of such a special moment in their lives in helping them select songs that would create lasting memories.

Details

My standard pricing is $25 for half hr lessons once a week. I include a discount for families of 3 or more children as my students. I am currently teaching online only.
