About Marden
La Jolla Piano Institute, founded in 1979 and based in La Jolla, California, has a proud history of over forty years in piano instruction. Under the expert tutelage of founder Dr. Marden Abadi, a concert pianist and student of Arthur Rubinstein, both concert level pianists and casual learners have honed their skills. The institute's unique approach combines direct one-on-one instruction and a unique curriculum that blends classic and modern pieces, ensuring students are playing real music within weeks. Dr. Abadi's devotion to effective pedagogy makes each student's learning process enjoyable and rewarding.
