About Michel

Why should you hire me? With a degree in Music Performance from the prestigious Boston Conservatory and over 11 years of teaching experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. My background has not only equipped me with a deep understanding of music theory and performance but also honed my ability to effectively communicate and inspire students. My passion for music and dedication to education drive me to create engaging and enriching learning experiences for my students, ensuring they reach their full potential. My commitment to fostering a positive, productive and fun learning environment make me an excellent candidate for this position as your music teacher.

Michel has always had a passion for teaching and passing down her love and knowledge of music. From a young age she realized she wanted to pursue teaching and spreading her love of music to the younger generation of musicians. Right out of college she began to teach students recommended to her through colleagues and former teachers.

I hold a Bachelors of Music from The Boston Conservatory where I graduated cum laude.

I will always recommend a trial lesson first where we will discuss the students goals and needs. I'll hear them perform for me and we'll have a short lesson where they can see how we'll work together on a regular basis.

l've worked with a wide array of students from 5 to 55 years old. I teach Beginning to intermediate piano students, beginning to advanced flute students, and beginning and advanced vocal students of all ages.

Take a trial lesson! It's an excellent opportunity to see if we are a good fit with zero cost to you! I always recommend a trial lesson to any prospective students.

I recently attended a Musical Theater production one of my voice students was performing in. It was a very exciting and proud moment for me as a teacher. I love to see my students achieve and succeed.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should be prepared to talk about their goals, previous experience, pricing and how often they can attend.
