About Sacha
Hi! My name is Sacha, and I am a recent University of Washington college graduate. I've been playing classical piano for 17 years, and I have been teaching students, primarily children, since 2013, and aim to foster a love of music first and foremost. In my own performance life, I've been a finalist in the California Certificate of Merit Panel exams, and have played as an accompanist in weddings, holiday events, etc. As a younger teacher, and having worked with children both through piano lessons and in summer camp settings, I have developed great strategies to providing an individualized approach to teaching, tailored to the needs and personality of each student.
I love being able to share my love for the instrument through teaching! Music has shaped my life, and I get so much fulfillment from fostering that same love of music with others. Piano performance has helped me develop various skills and traits, from patience and dedication, to compassion and an openness to creativity. Music psychologists agree that music can play a huge role in personal development!
