About Kim
I love working one-on-one to teach beginners music theory and how to play the piano. I started teaching when I was very young and my piano teacher wanted me to teach s beginners the basics so that she could focus on the more advanced students so I taught her students for the first year and then they transferred to her to get more training.
i loved teaching so much that I got my teaching credential! I continued to teach choir while teaching in my own classroom because music was (and is) my first love!
I was trained by my piano teacher to teach beginners and taught children as young as 5 years old as well as adults! I also taught music appreciation and individual piano lessons at a music school for several years, and taught music appreciation and choir at an elementary school for several years before getting my elementary teaching credential. Needless to say, I’ve loved music my whole life!
