About Maria
I have been clasically trained on the piano since I was a little girl. My mother was a piano teacher so she started teaching me when I was 3 years old (funnily enough, she actually asked me if I wanted to start learning, a decision that a 3-year-old is not very cognitively-aware to make, but alas, I thankfully said yes). I have been studying ever since and have tutored kids through my mum's business. Other than playing, I teach musical theory and how to read music. Over the years, I have been a part of a few brass bands and rock bands, I am self-taught in the drums and I recently bought a saxophone that I hope I will find the time to work on (saxophones are expensive and I am only a college student, but the purchase was worth it). I can work with any level of musical/piano knowledge, it is something I have been doing my whole life and something that comes naturally to me!
