About Charlotte

All the music professors, professional orchestral members have their private teaching while doing their performance or college teaching jobs. It is common for musician started teaching while they were still at school. This also applied to me. I have the confidence that my professional expertise as well as my vast teaching experiences can be beneficial to my private students since I started teaching while I was 19.

About the lesson

Get to know the student' preference, ability, former music experience, and level. Usually after the first two lessons students can decide whether to study with me. Usually after the first few projects/assignemnts I know which teaching approaches works best for the student depend on their practice time, interest, ability. Yet it might take longer to gain emotional trust from kids younger than 4 or 5.

age between 4-72. undergraduate college students and students from pre-K to high school.

(concealed information)

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
students should ask their teachers about their needs. Understanding piano learning is a whole different story from math. The functional system for the human body also varies from learning math/literature even though they interrelate each other.
