About Nicole
Nicole began her PILATES JOURNEY IN 2001 WITH her FIRST MAT CLASS. IN PURSUIT OF HER PASSION, SHE COMPLETED HER FIRST PILATES COMPREHENSIVE CERTIFICATION IN 2011, AND WENT ON TO COMPLETE HER SECOND TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM THROUGH POLESTAR PILATES IN 2014. POLESTAR PILATES OFFERS A HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER CONTEMPORARY AND REHAB FOCUSED PILATES PROGRAM.
IN JULY OF 2015, NICOLE COMPLETED THE HERITAGE TRAININGTM, A GRADUATE COURSE THAT PASSES ON THE WORK AND LINEAGE OF PILATES ELDER, KATHY STANFORD GRANT. IN THIS EXTENSIVE BODY OF WORK, INSTRUCTORS LEARN EXERCISES, LANGUAGE, IMAGERY AND CONCEPTS CREATED BY KATHY GRANT SPECIFICALLY TO STRENGTHEN AND ORGANIZE THE BODY FOR PROPER MOVEMENT.
INSPIRED BY KATHY GRANT'S WORK, NICOLE ENROLLED IN ALYCEA UNGARRO'S REAL PILATES TEACHER TRAINING (2017) AND IS CERTIFIED IN THE CLASSICAL PILATES METHOD. THIS SCHOOL TEACHES THE ORIGINAL WORK OF JOSEPH PILATES AND CONTINUES THE LINEAGE OF PILATES ELDER, ROMANA KRYZANOWSKA . NICOLE IS GRATEFUL AND HONORED TO BE PART OF THIS LEGACY AND HAS FALLEN IN LOVE WITH THE CLASSICAL REPERTOIRE.
ALONG WITH HER OWN GROWTH, NICOLE HAS SEEN HER CLIENTS IMPROVE THEIR FORM, RELEASE MUSCULAR TENSION, ALLEVIATE PAIN, REACH NEW LEVELS IN THEIR PRACTICE, AND APPLY THEIR NEW BODY AWARENESS OUTSIDE OF PILATES.

During our first lesson, I will do a fitness evaluation along with a postural evaluation. This helps me map out a personalized program for each client and provide me with feedback (client's strengths and limitations). Based on this information I will teach a class to the client's level.
