One thing I enjoy about the work I do is connecting with my students. I believe connection is a huge part of tutoring and you learn more when you connect well with your tutor. Another thing I enjoy is watching my tutoree succeed and grow. When they make the strides in the area they've been wanting, it's such a joy to watch and be apart of.
I've always taught at a young age, and first started as a camp volleyball counselor. From there I private tutored in high school, and then continued in college. I coached volleyball my senior year in college, while also leading private volleyball coaching sessions. Immediately after I graduated from college, I started as an instructional aide, and then took my CBEST to become a substitute teacher. From there I taught ESL in Spain, and returned to the U.S to continue to substitute teach.
I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry. I have been writing for over 3 years, and own a travel blog. Moreover, I have a experience in teaching ESL, substitute teaching, and private tutoring.

The first session will be understanding the students needs, going over expectations, and understanding their goals. After these are set, each lesson will be geared with aligning the student on their desired path.
I've worked with a variety of students ranging from age 4 to age 20 in both the U.S and in Spain. My students have been in both traditional classrooms, one on one sessions, and group sessions.
