About Owen

I've been guiding senior executives at public and private companies in the art of "audience recruitment" (AR) and "positive impressioning" (PI) for over 25 years. It turns out that they, like you, are apprehensive and concerned about "how the audience will react to them"... that they, like you, wonder if the content of their presentation will be received well or not... and that they, like you, would prefer the "event" be behind them already! Public speaking is like so many other arts ... it needs to be mastered in order to make it "appear" easy, but once it is mastered you will wish for opportunities to "show off" what you can do! My name is Owen Carton, I've written about how leaders inspire others to follow and how to communicate as champions of what they do; I am retained by major companies both large and small to advise them on how to master the art of communicating complicated ideas and making their aspirations both understood and compelling to the listener ... I will share what I've learned on my journey of mastering public speaking and insure your presentation journey is that much more successful as a result. I have guided the former CEO of Microsoft, Bill Gates in the art of presentation. I've been retained by many technology companies including: Microsoft, HP, Compaq, Cadence, Attensity, Ikanos, FrontOffice, iManage, Timeline, TellX and many more. Sample venture capital funds which have retained my services include: Walden International, Tallwood VC, US Venture Partners, Aeris Capital, Battery Ventures, Pacific Rim Ventures, Bay Partners and others.
