About Daphne
I am an experienced Assistant VP for Student Life with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. I'm Skilled in Assessment, Editing, Public Speaking, Program Development, Teamwork, Diversity Training and Student Development. My students will be able to demonstrate great skill in speaking confidently and fluently. In addition, my students will be able to write speeches and essays that move others to think outside of the box towards greater innovation.
I enjoy working with students from all walks of life. I am thankful for the opportunity to help students succeed.
I started teaching in 2012 as an online adjunct instructor. Since that time, I have had numerous opportunities to teach and advise students in my administrative role at Francis Marion University.

When working with a new student, I want to ensure that the student is comfortable; so I will typically find out what their hobbies are and relate the assignment to their hobbies or interests. This will spark greater interest in the reading or speaking material
