About Andrew
Hello! My name is Andrew, and I am a second-year law student in North Carolina. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History (Pre-Law) from Campbell University and a Master of Arts degree in History from Appalachian State University.
I have a passion for helping students (of all ages and levels) and lifelong learners achieve their educational goals! While I am new to online tutoring, I have classroom teaching experience at the collegiate level that will help me understand each one of my student's needs and make sure I am doing what is necessary to take their learning to the next level.

My typical process for working with a new student generally involves taking the time to talk with them about their goals. If I know what the student hopes to accomplish, I can better tailor their experience toward those goals. I promote a casual learning environment where it is okay for the student to be a student. Failure is an option! Through failure, we experience the greatest amount of growth.
I have mostly taught high school and college-aged students. However, I would like to work with elementary schoolers and middle schoolers as well.
I would advise a student looking to hire a teacher in my area of expertise to hire someone who cares about the student's education and is not on this website to make a quick buck. I am a tutor that genuinely wants to see you succeed and will go above and beyond to make sure that you do!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about your long term goals and where you think you are weakest right now. One of the most important things a student can do is openly recognize their weaknesses. Doing so allows them to form purpose-driven goals and ultimately strengthen themselves in the areas where they need to.
