About Fatima
I am a certified elementary school teacher with a MAster's Degree in Elementary Education and over 10 years of teaching experience.
I love teaching and seeing my students learn and grow everyday. I especially love it when my students are so happy when they realized they learned something new or read new words. They look very happy and proud whenever that happens and it just makes my day everytime.
I started teaching at an amazing Elementray school in Maryland and just fell in love with the profession.
I am a EC-6 certified teacher with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education.

1. Getting to know your students. Build rapport and make the students feel safe and comfortable in my class.
2. Pre-Assessment: Assess students' background or existing knowledge to establish a baseline.
3. Use data from pre-assessment to inform my lessons and teaching strategies.
4. Work on teaching lessons that will reinforce what the students know and build on that existing knowledge by introducing enrichment activities and new lessons.
I have worked with very diverse students. I taught English Language Learners, students that need accommodations and students with different reading levels and math skills levels.
Have fun and do not be afraid to make mistakes. Mistakes are part of your learning process.
My students had a promotion ceremony in May and they all wanted to give speeches afterwards. I was so proud listening to them speak with so much confidence!
