About Abbigail
I am a preservice teacher obtaining a teaching degree and a special education tutor. I have 3+ years of hands-on experience working with students and have begun to work with students online.
My goal is to help your student become a proficient reader by focusing on decoding and comprehension. I use an engaging, evidence-based program that makes reading fun and doable for all students.
I began teaching as a special education aide in 2018 and fell in love with the job. I quickly enrolled in special education courses and have since found my passion for education.
I am about to graduate as an elementary education major from Southern Utah University. I have worked with students of various ages, needs, and levels.

Your student only needs a zoom account, a whiteboard, and a marker. Depending on where your student is we will begin with the basics of decoding and move forward at a pace tailored to your student's needs.
I have worked with almost every grade level under sixth grade, all ranging in abilities and levels.
