I will usually speak with the student, the parent, and the teacher if possible. This is where I can assess the student’s needs and what is necessary for him/her to progress.
I will also inquire about the student’s interests to ensure that they are incorporated in the lessons.
An assessment will be given for initial data information.
All of this information will be used to begin creating lessons and activities that promote growth.
I have worked with general education students and students with disabilities from grades 2-12.
