About Marva E
i tutor students in Grades K-12 in History and Reading, it includes handwriting, learning vowel sounds and evrything pertaining to Reading, US History, World History, African-American Studies, the Civil War, I am also an Artist, Poet, Storyteller and I give workshops on Creative Writing to all ages- Adults, Children, and Teens
Ensuring that students succeed, I come from a family of Teachers beginning with my great, great, great, great,great Grandfather John Chavis((concealed information))a very prominent Educator and Presbytrian Minister in North Carolina who also ahs a park in Raleigh named after him.
It runs in my family and I started as a Tutor/Substitute Teacher, and went through training in Chapel Hill and Oxford, I am also an Artist, Poet, Storyteller and I give workshops in Creative Writing to all ages, Adults, Children, and Teens.

I start with a PreTest to see where the student is grade level wise in Reading and go from there, I cover all History-US, World, African American, Civil War.
Grades K-12.
I work with all students to help them especially when it comes to the End-of-Grade(EOG)and End-of-Class(EOC)Tests the students take in the Spring.
My workshops in Creative Writing.
