About Penny
I love to teach phonetic reading for all ages. If a person can learn phonics they can pronouce and read just about anything!
I began teaching my first child to read in Kindergarten because we chose to school at home.
I have home taught and tutored my own children and many others for over 25 years.

I prefer to begin with teaching the basics of phonics or meet the student at their level with a phonetcial approach so they can learn to read anything without site reading or memorization of words so they are not limited.
I have worked with all ages from K to adult.
Don't be afraid or intimidated. Anyone can learn to read. Anyone can excell at reading. Reading is the foundation of learning anything you desire. If you get that down the world is your oyster!
Seeing a studdent read a beginner reader all on their own!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think it's important for students to be ok with anything they are struggling with and be willing to talk to their tutor about it. Everyone learns differently. Decide if you think you learn best by hearing, seeing or doing and then express that to your tutor.
