About Ann Marie
I am a First grade retired teacher I taught for 31 years. Reading is my speciality. I have my Masters in Reading. Children have to learn to love to read, or the magic can't happen. I try to get my kids to learn that love, that reading can be fun. Once they understand that code they find that magic in reading.
I make my teaching fun. Reading should be fun. Learning to read needs to be taught in a positive atmosphere. I enjoy seeing the smile on the kiddos' faces when they get it!
I have been a teacher for over 37 years. I have a Master's in Early Childhood Education. A Master's in Reading. For 31 years I was a first grade teacher. I also worked as a Reading Coach in the same K-6 school. I have been retired since 2019, and miss working with children.
