About Heidi
I have been a teacher since 1988. I worked for the Reading Center in Rochester, MN, from 1990 - 2001. I have operated my private educational practice, Kuiper Academics & Consulting, since 2002.
B.S. in Education, Minnesota State University at Mankato, MN 1988

I prefer to have a conversation with the parent first to assess the student's needs and abilities. Once I start with a student, I administer some base line tests to best decide how to design an individualized program for that student. Students are typically retested every 50 lessons.
I work with all ages of students, K-12. My specialty is the dyslexic learner.
