About Michele
I have been teaching for 27 years all ages and subjects. I have a master's degree and a reading endorsement k-12.
I have a bachelor's degreee in elementary education and a master's degree in reading. I am certified in KY to teach all areas K-5 or reading and writing K-12.

I either contact the child's current teacher to get benchmarking or test scores used at their current school or I will give a benchmark test to see what specific skills are lacking. Those will be the areas in which I focus my efforts. When a student struggles, it is usually because basic foundational skills are not strong enough to build on. Once the child feels confident with the foundational skills, their learning potential is high.
