I love using Growth Mindset with my students. I have found with tutoring and teaching it is easy for students to feel like the "cannot do" something and the importance of.encouraging and showing each individual they CAN. In my classroom or in the tutoring environment I like to find the strengths of my students and target these strengths to not only succeed with their academics, but to see how these concepts can relate to what it is they are interested in.
Making connections and building rapport with students is key to a successful tutoring/teacher realyionship with a student.
