About Nikolai

Hello,

My name is Nikolai. I am 18 years old, and I have lived in Russia for 10 years. I was born in Moscow and learned English early in my life. I don't have an accent in either language, so I can teach you how to speak fluently and also without an accent. We will start with proper enunciation and meaning of words and will learn to read and write as we go.

I was born in Russia and grew up there. I was fortunate to learn English and move to America when I was 10 years old. As a result, I am fluent in both languages and I have a great understanding of what makes a person any age retain linguistic information.

About the lesson

Every student is different, and I will approach teaching Russian in a personalized manner. In the first lesson, I will test the student on their current abilities to understand where to start. For a complete beginner, I will work on pronunciation and understanding of speech above all else, and for intermediate speakers, I will begin to focus on reading aloud and writing together.
