About Elina
Hi! My name is Elina. I live in Salt Lake City, UT and want to teach Russian to people who are inspired and passionate to learn it. I'm a full time IT analyst, but I've always wanted to teach as my part time job/hobby.
I was born and raised in the south of Russia. I've always been passionate about languages and different cultures, and I learnt English mostly by watching tv shows and movies. I believe that any language learning should come along with personal interests and hobbies. Because of how I learnt English (and still learning and improving), I want to share the joy of learning a foreign language and help my students to find their passion in learning Russian. Russian language is the language of Leo Tolstoy and Fyodor Dostoevsky, it is a beautiful, difficult, mighty and diverse. By learning a foreign language, you learn culture, and I invite you to learn Russian culture through Russian language with me!
I love inspiring people to learn/improve and just find joy in learning a foreign language.
Russian is my native language.
